Piano Recital Dress

It was such a blessing to have my wonderful Nana come down to teach me how to sew a dress for my piano recital. I found a pattern on Mrs. Jennie Chancey's website http://www.sensibility.com/mainpage
and it turned out BEAUTIFUl!!!! It is the prettiest dress that I have ever had. So, I decided to put a couple of pictures to show you how lovely it turned out.

Lydia (my sister) and me before the recital.

Kendall and me a little nervous before it started.

Posing (lol)

Oh Naomi, your dress is soooo beautiful. I especially love the back. It is so elegant. You've grown into such a lovely young lady; inside and out.

Such a pretty dress!! Great job on the sewing!! I've made the regency outfit by Mrs. Chancey a few years back with much help from a sewing teacher.
Keep posting!

Your dress is lovely, one day I would love to sew garments.

P.S. I'm new to your blog, feel free to stop by mine.
